The 19-year-old forward has joined the Rdeče-črni (Red-Blacks) and represents a significant move to strengthen our attacking options as we pursue our goals in the 2. SNL.
The Haitian Talent: From Miami to Sežana
Bryan Destin comes to us from the system of Inter Miami CF II in the MLS NEXT Pro league, where he developed his skills in a highly competitive environment. However, his most compelling experience has been on the international stage with Haiti.
- Position: Destin’s primary role is Centre-Forward, but he is versatile and capable of playing across the front line, including on the wings (Left Winger, Right Winger). This flexibility will be a major asset to Coach Darijan Matić.
- Youth International Standout: Despite his young age (born February 26, 2006), Destin has been a consistent feature for the Haiti U20 National Team.
- He was notably the youngest player at the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship at just 16, where he scored a vital late equalizer against Trinidad & Tobago.
- He has continued to contribute goals and starts for the U20 side in subsequent tournaments and qualifying rounds, demonstrating his knack for finding the back of the net when it matters.
This move to Slovenia marks a pivotal step in Destin’s career as he transitions from youth football to regular senior competition in Europe.
